Universal Success Laws for Entrepreneurial Women…. lets begin to unpack them!
If you haven’t read part 1 of this series, do your self a favour and read it here. You are going to want to have all the information to hand when learning and applying the 13 Brilliant Success Laws for Entrepreneurial Women.
In this blog, Part 2 of 13 Brilliant Success Laws for Entrepreneurial Women you are going to learn more about;
- The Law of Oneness
- The Law of Vibration
- The Law of Attraction
- The Law of Cause and Effect
I will provide detailed explanations of each Law, giving you, entrepreneurial women, explanatory content as well as putting the content in to context, to help you to understand how to work with these Laws on a daily basis.

Here’s the detailed explanations of my 13 Brilliant Success Laws for Entrepreneurial Women:
First Law: The Law of Oneness
We are all connected and everything in this entire universe is connected to everything else in this entire universe through the Law of Vibration. Just as the seven colours of the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet are connected to each other in such a way that it is impossible for you to know where the one colour ends and the next colour begins, so too is it impossible for you to know energetically where one thing ends and another begins.
Think of a vase on a table – the vase and the table both vibrate and though they appear to the naked eye as two solid independent masses, they’re not, they’re both vibrating masses of molecules which are invisibly connected. Similarly, table is connected to the carpet or floor it is standing on and the floor is connected to many other objects, even you if you are standing on it. Therefore, energetically, you are connected to the vase on the table even if you’re not holding it in your hand. Just as you are connected to ‘objects’ around you, so too are you connected to every living life form and human being.
Yes, everything is connected to everything else and so what you think, say, do and believe will have a corresponding effect on your life, your results, on others and on the universe which you are part of. Didn’t think you had a universal impact? Well think again because you do. You are not just a tiny insignificant piece of the entire universe, you are the entire universe contained in a tiny, very significant, piece.
All of humanity and God, Source, Infinite Intelligence, Original Substance, The Creator, whatever name you wish to use, are one, hence the Law of Oneness. You are always connected to this primary universal force which is omnipresent – it is all around you and it flows to you and through you. Given that you are a creative being, what you do with this force, this energy, is entirely your choice. That’s right, it’s up to you to choose whether you’re going to use all this energy on tap to create or destroy. Either way there’s a price to pay.

It is of the utmost importance for you to acknowledge this first law as until you do, you are disconnected from the source of all true power and therefore powerless as opposed to being powerful. Being out of harmony with the Law of Oneness will not only leave you powerless but you will be unaware and unenlightened of the truth that everything you receive flows to you as a gift, a blessing, from Source, through others.
Now that you know this, next time you’re fed up with your employer over money say, maybe you will change your thought processes. Instead begin to explore where your relationship with Source is falling short as what you’re experiencing at that moment is a message, a learning from Source which is being delivered to you, through others (in this example, your employer). When you begin to grasp this concept your entire attitude toward others will change and you will realise that everyone you share planet earth with is a precious blessing in your life as through them, Source, your universal mother and father if you will, is interacting directly with you.
As you reflect on your life, how would you have behaved if you had known back then, that through the Law of Oneness, you are not separate from life, your friends, colleagues and every other being that has ever existed?
Now that you know better, what are you going to do (the correct actions repeated, create powerful habits and deliver superb results) every day to place yourself in harmony with the Law of Oneness?
Second Law: The Law of Vibration

William James writes that “Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind” and the same holds true for every business out there. Yes, once again it is all about how your mind works and what you think about all day long, thinking being the highest faculty which you are capable of.
Any coach, trainer or teacher, or mentor who is worth his/her salt will tell you that great change starts with changing attitudes, simply because attitudes start a flow of energy that influences everything you do. Embracing change is however very demanding. It requires that you adjust your own internal subconscious paradigms because ‘if it is to be, it is up to me’ – it’s critical for you to understand that your attitude is your compass for the results you want and will get.
You can choose which direction to take your mind, positive or negative. What’s massively important for you to know and remember is that a person’s thoughts, decisions, emotions, behaviours, actions and results tell all about their mind-set and paradigms and in terms of the Law of Vibration, these set up their personal universal vibration field. Now not everyone has studied the Law of Vibration nor do they understand its universal influence so let me take some time to explore this universal law.
Albert Einstein proved that we can break matter down into smaller components and that, when we do, we move beyond the material realm and into a realm in which everything is energy. This is the Law of Vibration, a law of nature that states that nothing rests; everything moves; every ‘thing’ vibrates. It has been said that ‘we all live in an ocean of motion it’s just that most of us are unaware of this scientific truth’. Science has confirmed over and over again that everything in the Universe, including you, is pure energy vibrating at different frequencies. The lower the vibration, the slower the vibration will be, which explains why lethargic, massively non-productive people have low energy fields coming off them. The higher the vibration, the faster the vibration, which explains why inspired, energised, extremely productive people always give you the feeling that they’re energised, powerful and fully in control.

The brilliant scientist and physicist Nikola Tesla said “If you want to find the secrets of the universe think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” You may not be aware that the feelings of fear, grief and despair vibrate at a very low frequency whereas the feelings of love, joy and gratitude vibrate at a much higher frequency. This helps explain why people experiencing grief and despair feel ‘down in the dumps’ whereas people who are grateful for and lovingly connected to Source, feel on ‘on top of the world’.
The way you’re feeling at any given moment in time dictates your vibration and tells you a very powerful story which you can use to effectively manage your consciousness and your state. ‘Feeling’ is therefore a word to define conscious awareness of vibration – the way you are feeling tells you what vibration you are in. Good feelings are telling you that you’re embracing positive energy and therefore you’re connected with high frequencies and high vibrations – keep on and expect high returns on your actions. Bad feelings are telling you that you’re embracing negative energy and therefore you’re connected with low frequencies and low vibrations – stop immediately, unless you want bad returns from your actions.
The axioms ‘like energy attracts like energy’ or ‘you don’t attract what you want, you attract what you are’ upon which the Law of Attraction is based, have their foundation in this Law of Vibration. Given this explanation it should be no secret that when you are in a negative mind-set you will absolutely attract negative things toward you for as long as you remain that way.
Are you going to allow your feelings to actively guide you now?
Are you going to allow your feelings to powerfully inform you whether you’re vibrating at a high frequency which means you’re feeling good and are on track, or whether you’re vibrating at a low frequency which means you’re feeling bad and are off track?
Third Law: The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is a sub-law of the Law of Vibration. This law powerfully demonstrates how we create the things, events and people that come into our lives. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies. The most powerful way to describe this law is that life responds to you and life communicates with you so whatever enters your life does so because it is on the same frequency that you are. You get back exactly what you give out.
Simply put, everything in your life is drawn to you by your thoughts.
Angry women attract angry circumstances and events to them which makes them all the more angry and so their anger escalates to the point where they are completely out of control and so is their life. On the other hand, happy, loving women give out lots of love and happiness and so they get back loads of love of happiness. You have a choice – you choose what you want to give out.
You may now understand why some of the greatest teachers who have ever lived, teach that we live in a perfectly just universe – what you give out, you will get back – what you sow you will reap.
If there is one thing I want you to understand about the Law of Attraction, it is that it responds to your emotion-fuelled subconscious paradigms, not to your thought-driven intellect. The Law of Attraction is not driven by what you’re thinking but by what you’re feeling. So, no matter how hard you try to make your every thought one of prosperity, if you’re most powerful feelings are ones of lack, worry, doubt, ‘misery and poverty’ then all the Law of Attraction is ever going to deliver to you, is more lack, worry, doubt, ‘misery and poverty’.
I want to yet again reinforce the thinking-feeling truth around this law, that’s how important it is. Whatever your emotional (subconscious) mind gives out as feelings influenced by your mind’s uniquely programmed operating system (‘paradigms’) will always be perfectly matched and mirrored by what the Law of Attraction has on offer for you. If you’ve ever wondered why the Law of Attraction isn’t working for you, or when it does, why it works in opposition to what you wanted, maybe now you’ll know why. What you received was not attracted from what you were thinking, but from what you were feeling!

Let this A-HA moment seep deep into your consciousness, into every component of the trillions of cells in your body. Allow yourself to really feel and connect with this newfound truth. Make the decision to get out of your head and to open up your heart so that the feelings of love, happiness, health, riches, success can flood into it. Once you’ve used your mind to think about, to create and to shape what you want, then leave the intellectual process there as you’re done with it; now focus on powerfully associating with the good, prosperous, feelings which go with what you want, resting easy as now you know that you’re powering the Law of Attraction to give you exactly what you want.
What’s also incredibly important for you to remember around the Law of Attraction is, that your feelings are telling you exactly how this law is or isn’t working for you. Good feelings mean you’re attracting to you everything you want, whereas bad feelings are telling you that you’re attracting to you the very things that you don’t want. Again, the importance of acknowledging your feelings comes to the fore. You live in an intelligent, emotionally responsive universe therefore your feelings tell all in terms of the Law of Attraction and so you must allow yourself to feel as therein lies your magical intuitive universal intelligence.
Psychologists have come to the conclusion that there is but one sense, the sense of feeling, and that all other senses are but modifications of this one sense; this being true, we know why feeling is the very fountain head of power, why the emotions so easily overcome the intellect, and why we must put good feelings into our thoughts, if we wish superb results. Thought and feeling is the irresistible combination.
You have the ability to attract many good and positive events into your life right now, however there’s a caveat to enjoying all this reward and its one which few people are truly prepared to embrace. For this law to work with you and for you, you have to first accept all that has happened to you, you have to accept that everything in your life existed or persists because you and only you attracted all this to you. This is called living at cause. If you’re not prepared to embrace this approach then you’re living at effect which in essence means you’re a victim who blames and shames others and who entertains and nurtures a ‘poor little me’ vibrational approach toward life.
The Law of Attraction works, however as with everything in life, to get what you want there’s a price to pay upfront and the price you have to pay is: “Are you prepared to really live at cause and embrace the universal truth that you are the sole cause of everything which has happened and is happening to you right now?”
The final thing I want to teach you around the Law of Attraction goes around two very negative, destructive emotions, envy and resentment. Just saying those two words ‘envy’ and ‘resentment’ out loud and with real feeling, saps your energy and dramatically lowers your frequency and vibration. If that’s not enough to make you painfully aware of how devastating the feelings of envy and resentment, then read on. When you see someone succeeding, winning after years of trials, tribulations, persistence and effort, if you criticise them or speak ill of their success because you’re feeling envious or resentful of their gain, then know this universal shocking truth – you’ve just embraced, aligned with and are in perfect resonance with the opposite of the Law of Attraction which is the Law of Repulsion, an anti-magnetic force which drives success out of your life!
Do you want your thoughts, feelings, words and actions to actively chase away success, prosperity and everything good which life has on offer to you?
I think not, so learn the lesson now! You live in a universe and world of complete abundance, so rather choose to genuinely and honestly celebrate another’s success and gains than harm yourself through thoughts, feelings, words and actions of envy and resentment toward them.
Fourth Law: The Law of Cause and Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect states that every cause (an action) has an effect (a reaction or a result) and because the universe is perpetually in motion with everything is connected, every effect therefore has a knock-on effect, becoming if you will, the cause of something else and so on and so forth – think the ‘domino effect’.
Let’s steer away from personal growth for a moment and turn to physics as understanding Sir Isaac Newton’s Third Law of Motion is critical if you are to fully comprehend the enormity of the Law of Cause and Effect on your life and everything you do. First you must grasp what a force is as forces are pivotal to knowing the how and why around the practical applicability of the Law of Cause and Effect. A force is a push or a pull that acts upon an object as a result of its interaction with another object. Forces therefore result from interactions!
According to Newton, whenever two objects (object A and object B say) interact with each other, they exert forces upon each other. Think of it this way if you please – when you (object A) stand on a chair (object B), your body exerts a downward force on the chair and the chair exerts an upward force on your body. Thus, there are two forces resulting from this interaction of your standing on a chair; a force on the chair and a force on your body. These two forces are called action and reaction forces and form the subject of what we know today as Newton’s Third Law of Motion.
Formally stated, Newton’s Third Law is ‘For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction’ and so if you’ve ever read any self-help books you’ll now know why the Law of Cause and Effect is always linked with making you aware of the truth that whatever you give out (action), you will get back (reaction).

Another thing you need to know is that forces always come in pairs; equal and opposite action-reaction force pairs.
Here are a few examples of interaction force pairs which are evident in nature:
Consider the propulsion of a dolphin through the water. A dolphin uses its large flattened tail-flukes to push water backwards, however a push on the water will only serve to accelerate the water. Since forces result from mutual interactions, the water must also be pushing the dolphin forwards, propelling it through the water. The size of the force on the water is equal to the size of the force on the dolphin; the direction of the force on the water (backwards in this example) is opposite the direction of the force on the dolphin (forwards in this example). So, from this it is now easy to understand why for every action there is an equal (in size) and opposite (in direction) reaction force. The action-reaction force pair (backwards-forwards in this example) make it possible for dolphins to swim.
Let’s consider another action-reaction force pair and to illustrate this, let’s move from the water into the air. Consider for a moment the flying motion of birds. A bird, an eagle say, using its wings to fly. The wings of the eagle push air downwards. Since forces result from mutual interactions, the air must also be pushing the eagle upwards. The size of the force on the air equals the size of the force on the eagle; the direction of the force on the air (downwards in this example) is opposite the direction of the force on the eagle (upwards in this example). So, yet again there is scientific proof that for every action, there is an equal (in size) and opposite (in direction) reaction. The action-reaction force pair (downwards-upwards in this example) make it possible for eagles to fly.

Finally, let’s make this lesson on action-reaction force pairs relevant to your everyday life. Enter your motorcar. Consider the motion of your motorcar on the way to work. Your car has wheels that spin. As the wheels spin they grip the road and push the road backwards. Since forces result from mutual interactions, the road must also be pushing the wheels forward. The size of the force on the road equals the size of the force on the wheels of your car; the direction of the force on the road (backwards in this example) is opposite the direction of the force on the wheels (forwards in this example). For every action, there is an equal (in size) and opposite (in direction) reaction. The action-reaction force pair (backwards-forwards in this example) makes it possible for your motorcar to move along the roadway surface and get you to work.
Now, let’s bank these learnings and return to self-help, personal growth and life and living relevance. Ralph Waldo Emerson refers to this law as the ‘law of laws’ and stresses that the most important lessons involving human conduct and interactions will always be presented to us through this law because every human thought, word and action is a cause which brings about a wave of energy throughout the universe and this wave creates the corresponding effect (result) whether wanted or not. The force-pair in play here is spiritual-physical or spirit-matter or thoughts-results – bottom line is all your thoughts become things and there is just no way of getting around this as everything you do is influenced by perfectly balanced universal action-reaction pairs!
The Law of Cause and Effect is sometimes referred to as the Law of Compensation, which is a wonderfully apt description as this law will help only you when you choose to help yourself. What you need to know and remember in terms of compensation (e.g. money) is the amount of money or good you will receive in life will be in direct proportion to three things:
- The need for what you do…
- Your ability to do it…
- The difficulty there will be in replacing you…
What these three points should highlight to you is that ‘every act whether good or bad rewards itself’ so why not busy yourself with things that absolutely excite you, which you are really good at and which you love spending time on? Thing is, the more you love what you do, the more you’ll be prepared to put time into it and so you’ll be in harmony with the universal success principle of ‘as you sow, so shall you reap’.

A word of caution around compensation. You must provide service because there’s no such thing as something for nothing. If you have a something-for-nothing mindset you’re out of harmony with the Law of Cause and Effect and you’ll pay an extreme price for this as these thoughts, this consciousness will make the universe your worst enemy. Another common violation of this law is that most people do just enough to get by. If this your approach to life, if this is how you meet and greet each day and every opportunity which comes before you, you’re out of harmony with the law. You must do what you love, and, you must be willing to go the extra mile, to do whatever it takes to manifest the success you desire. The universal laws never ever favour lazy people, so if you want more best you work with the laws and get serious about turning your desires into results through multiple, on-going, actions. Raymond Holliwell sums up compensation so succinctly:
“If your thoughts are constructive and proper, you cannot remain imprisoned. If you are dissatisfied and unhappy, you will be inspired for something better. If you want prosperity and success but do not strive to change in anyway, how can you expect things to be any different?”
No doubt you’ve heard the word ‘karma’ used often. Well now is the perfect time to link this word with the Law of Cause and Effect as they’re the same thing! Karma, like time and gravity, is a universal principle and every person is affected by its influence. While the law of physics applies to the interaction of material objects only, the law of karma (Cause and Effect) applies to any action performed by living entities (you and me) and governs the interrelations of all living beings. The law of karma teaches that every action performed by you in life creates another reaction which in turn produces a new counter action. Thus, you are the creator of an endless chain of actions and reactions which binds you, a living entity, to your every good and bad deed.
When Cause and Effect is described in this way you will understand why nothing happens by chance or outside the universal laws. Every action has a reaction or consequence and you will reap what you sow! When you open your consciousness to looking at this law from a philosophical point of view then every cause and effect had its worldly purpose to what you are experiencing today. To benefit yourself and society too, you should use your free will of choice and perform good deeds with the awareness that what you think, act and speak about will affect the entire universe.
This is the beginning of your New Way
I chose these Success Laws first, we are all connected, reading this you are connected to me, even if we have never met, universally you and I share an invisible connection. The Law of Laws, is the Law of Vibration, and from this Law stems the Law of Attraction. You may have been exposed to the Law of Attraction through The Secret, and although the movie only touched on the simple basics of the Law of Attraction for many of us it was the switch that turned us on to our journey of discovering the Universal Laws. The Law of Cause and Effect, no one escapes this law, you know how it goes, karma it is called by many and biblically, do unto others…. and as you sow, so shall you reap.
